atmosphere. Rather than chasing fleeting trends or heavy contemporary commentary, my work focuses purely on capturing the timeless elegance and genuine expression of the individual. My approach to portraiture rooted in the traditions of the old masters, with some addition of the modern touch. I draw immense inspiration from the works of Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Raphael and other masters, focusing heavily on how light shapes form, creates depth, and evokes an immediate sense of intimacy. Operating primarily out of a home studio during the evening hours, I rely on controlled, artificial studio lighting to recreate that classic chiaroscuro effect—sculpting shadows to bring out the raw emotion, skin texture, and gaze of the model.
